The Field Tracking System (“App”) is a workforce management mobile
application developed under the brand Axis Software,
operated by
Axis Investment and Development Pvt. Ltd., Nepal
(PAN: 600026417).
This Privacy Policy informs users (employees/field staff) and
organizations (employers) about how we handle data to facilitate
real-time workforce monitoring and task management, in compliance with
the Privacy Act, 2018 (Nepal) and global app store
policies.
1. Information We Collect
To provide accurate tracking and task management, the App collects the
following data categories:
a. User-Provided Information

Account Details: Name, employee ID, and contact
number provided by the employer.

Task Data: Updates, notes, and photos uploaded by
the user regarding assigned tasks.

Attendance: Check-in and check-out timestamps.
b. Automatically Collected Information

Device Information: Model, OS version, and battery
status (to analyze connectivity gaps).

Usage Logs: Diagnostic data to ensure app stability
and performance.
2. Purpose of Data Collection
In accordance with the principle of "Purpose Limitation" under the
Nepal Privacy Act, data is used strictly for:

Operational Efficiency: Optimizing travel routes
and recording time spent at specific task sites.

Accountability: Verifying attendance and task
progress through GPS-stamped updates.

Reporting: Generating performance analytics for the
employer’s management dashboard.
3. App Permissions
The App requires the following system permissions to function as
intended:

Camera & Gallery: Enables field staff to upload
proof of work or task-related visual documentation.

Notifications: Used for real-time task assignments
and critical alerts.

Mobile Data/Internet: Required to sync field
updates with the central management dashboard.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

To Employers: All data collected is primarily
shared with the organization/employer that manages the specific
Field Tracking System dashboard.

Legal Requirements: Data may be disclosed only if
required by the laws of Nepal or authorized government bodies.
5. Data Security and Storage

Storage: Data is stored on secure, enterprise-grade
servers. Employers are responsible for managing the data they access
through the system.
6. User Control and Rights

Transparency: Users are actively notified via
system indicators when location tracking is active.

Access: Users can view their own task history and
personal profile within the App interface.

Withdrawal: Users can cease tracking by logging out
or disabling permissions in device settings. Note that this may
impact the ability to fulfill job duties as required by the
employer.
